AS HEALTH movement: 3 stage approach
STAGE 1: BACK TO BASICS
In our first stage we target your functional limitations & movement incompetency's that were found in your initial assessment. Providing strategies and movements that limit as much of your pain as possible. It's about learning the correct movement patterns and educating on the ways that you CAN move pain free. Building confidence in yourself knowing that you are capable of movement
STAGE 2: DEVELOP
In our second stage we start to focus on building some strength through a graded approach to resistance training. Build on those foundational strength patterns from stage one. Developing some muscle and protecting those areas that have previously been causing problems. Re-testing of your initial movement and strength assessments to see how far you have come.
STAGE 3: TRANSFORM
In our third stage the focus is to build resilience and remain pain free. This is undoubtedly the most important phase as it continues to keep you out of pain. Strong bodies are resilient bodies.
